Our Christmas packages help you achieve the spirit of the family or an intimate getaway in a picturesque Northern New Hampshire setting.

A Family Reunion at the Rocks Estate
The Rocks Christmas Tree Farm has been described as a present day "Norman Rockwell" experience. Set amidst the majestic White Mountains, the farm offers beautiful trees, picturesque old buildings and stonewalls, horse drawn wagon tours, handcrafted wreaths and partnerships with some of the best lodging establishments in the area.
You can also get your shopping done at our New Hampshire's Crafters Fair and local shops. Remember, there's no sales tax in this state!
The lodges encompass all levels of the hospitality trade from the family vacationer to intimate romantic escapes. Last holiday season we had a wedding proposal on our horse-drawn ride and this Christmas we will welcome a family reunion party of over 60.

Maple Sugar Vacation Packages
The New Hampshire Maple Experience
One of New Hampshire's most enduring rites of spring--the maple sugar season--will be celebrated this year with four special fun-filled weekend programs at the historic 1,400-acre Rocks Estate property.
During March we are offering a fun, educational trip which will include the ins and outs of maple sugaring while you vacation in some of the area's best lodging establishments.
The New Hampshire Maple Experience is a hands-on learning adventure.
Visitors not only see how syrup is made, but also learn about the history, basic tree identification techniques, and the economic importance of natural maple products. Visitors help tap our maple trees so that they can enjoy and understand this rural aspect of New England.

Horse-drawn wagon rides, warm syrup, donuts and the infamous pickles are a few of the highlights!
The NH Maple Experience adventure is scheduled for the last 3 weekends of March and the 1st weekend of April. (Saturdays only the first two weekends). Continual tours and horse drawn rides take place throughout each day.
Reservations are advised but walk-ins are welcomed on a space available basis. Cost is $10 for adults and $7 for children.
Participants will take a horse-drawn wagon ride around the Rocks Estate property and see up close the workings of a modern-day (pipeline collecting system) and visit an operating sugarhouse. They will also learn how to drill and tap a maple tree. To top off each session, the program will finish with maple syrup and fresh donuts.
"The entire program is really geared towards families," says Nigel Manley, longtime Director at The Rocks. "It's educational, but a lot of fun, too. People really enjoy the experience of tapping a tree themselves, and find the visit to the sugarhouse a real treat."
The Maple Sugar Programs, held in March, are open to the general public but reserving a spot ahead of time is required as program space is limited. For fee and registration information, contact The Rocks at 603-444-6228 or info@therocks.org.
The Rocks is teaming up with more than a dozen White Mountain area hotels and inns and offering the maple sugar program as part of a weekend vacation package deal. View our list of participating inns here.
On the weekend of March 27, 28 - The Rocks Estate will be participating in the NH Maple Festival with the Lincoln/Woodstock Chamber
